Events & Tasks
Where events and tasks are stored
Your iPhone's Calendar and Reminders, used as they are
HyFlow does not keep events and tasks of its own. It reads what is in your iPhone's Calendar and Reminders apps, and writes back to them.
So this is what follows
- 1An event you make in HyFlow shows up in the iPhone
Calendarapp as well - 2Edit it on your iPhone and HyFlow reflects it right away
- 3You see the same events on a Mac, an iPad, or the Google Calendar website
- 4Nothing to migrate. Grant access and what you already have is there
- 5Delete HyFlow and your events and tasks stay where they are
Events and tasks are kept by the account. iCloud, Google, wherever you registered them. HyFlow is where they are shown within your day and handled comfortably.
So when an event is missing, look at the account first rather than HyFlow. An event that isn't in the iPhone Calendar app cannot appear in HyFlow either.
Notes are different
Notes are kept by HyFlow itself. They have nothing to do with the iPhone Notes app.
- 1Events and tasks. Stored in iPhone Calendar and Reminders. Synced through the account
- 2Notes and Flow. Kept by HyFlow. Synced across devices with iCloud
They sit side by side on the same screen, but they live in different places. That is also why a backup file holds only notes and Flow, not events and tasks. Those are already kept with the account.
Choosing where an event is saved
More than one account means more than one calendar, and you can choose where to save an event. Keep work in a work calendar and personal in a personal one, and that separation holds on your other devices and in other apps too.
